I did not set out to teach anyone about the love of God. For a long time, I could not feel it for myself. I knew the verses. I sang the songs. But when the storm hit, and the prayers seemed to bounce off the ceiling, I discovered how little of that love I had truly received. What I had learned was a system—rules to manage God, formulas to secure His favor. It left me exhausted and empty, and it taught me a hard lesson: you can know a lot about love without ever experiencing it.

My turning point was small and unremarkable to anyone watching. I was alone, worn out from trying to hold everything together, and I opened the Scriptures to the book of James. The words cut through me: be doers of the word, not hearers only. I had been a professional hearer. I had attended, listened, taken notes, and applauded. But I had not been living what I claimed to believe. That single verse became an invitation—not to try harder, but to start over. To let God teach me a different way to walk with Him.

Today I serve as a Christian Life Coach. I work with believers from all walks of life—men and women who love God but feel stuck, who want more than head knowledge but do not know how to move their faith into their hands and feet. We do practical things: we examine what they are actually believing, practice listening prayer, identify His love in everyday moments, and take small, obedient steps that turn into a new way of living. The transformation is rarely dramatic. It is usually quiet, steady, and deeply freeing.
